· tick off

I'm really ticked off.

我气坏了。

在这里呢，somebody be ticked off

也可以说为 tick sb off 的哦~

✍ He didn't win that competition. That really ticked him off.

他没能赢得那场竞赛，十分的气急败坏。

· piss off

I guess what I'm saying is, I really pissed my doctors off.

我猜我想说的是，我真的把医生气坏了。

同样的道理，piss off 也同 tick off一样，可以进行主被动互换的哦

✍ He's pissed off. Just stop doing that!

他生气了，别再欺负他了。

· throw off

I got it. Pretend you just woke up. That will throw her off.

我想到了，就假装你刚睡醒，她一定会气坏的。

throw somebody off

还可以表示支走某人，甩掉某人

✍ We'd better throw her off.

我们最好把她支走。

throw somebody off something

表示引开某人对某事的注意

✍ You are supposed to throw him off the news.

你要做的是别再让他关注那个消息了。

甩掉某物

✍ She could run faster if she threw off her backpack.

如果她扔掉背包，她会跑得更快。

· drive sb mad

drive sb + 形容词

真是个特别好用的表达，

后面可以跟上不同的形容词来让

表达更加生动、形象！

一想到刘翔就会举办下次演唱会，我就兴奋不已。

· livid；furious

这两个形容词使用的时候可以

加上程度副词来加深恼怒的程度哦~

✍ She's absolutely furious.

她十分恼怒。

--He is angry? 他还在生气吗？

--No, he's livid. 不仅如此，他还大发雷霆。
